Udonis Haslem and the Heat will take on the Pacers in the big NBA match-up of the night, tipping off at 8 p.m. On Friday, David Lee and Marreese Speights of Golden State will do battle with Mike Miller and Nick Calathes of Memphis.
Bradley Beal, Washington Wizards
Beal has posted double-figures the entire month of March, including dropping 21 and grabbing seven boards in a loss to the Nuggets on Sunday. Beal went 8-of-18 from the field and 3-of-5 from long range to lead the Wizards in scoring on the night. Washington will host the Suns tonight at 7 p.m.
Matt Bonner, San Antonio Spurs
Bonner missed two games with a strain in right calf and just recently had an MRI which he revealed he will be sidelined for about two weeks. The nine-year NBA veteran is averaging 3.1 ppg and 2.1 rpg. The Spurs (54-16) have won 14 straight games will take on the Nuggets tonight at 8:30 p.m.
Corey Brewer, Minnesota Timberwolves
Despite three consecutive losses by the Timberwolves, Brewer posted 15 and 14 points in the last two games. On Monday against Memphis, he shot 6-of-10 from the floor and also had seven rebounds. Brewer is averaging 11.6 ppg and 2.6 rpg. Minnesota is set to play Atlanta tonight at 8 p.m.
Nick Calathes, Memphis Grizzles
Calathes has contributed just a few points for the Grizzlies over the last five games, playing about 15 minutes per game. He is averaging 4.9 ppg, 1.9 rpg and 3.1 apg. Memphis will play in Utah tonight at 10:30 p.m.
Udonis Haslem, Miami Heat
Haslem didn't see action in Sunday's win over Portland but did drop 14 points last Wednesday in a loss to the Celtics. Haslem's 7-of-8 effort was his best of the season, as he saw the hardwood for 27 minutes and also grabbed five boards. The Heat will battle the Pacers tonight at 8 p.m.
Al Horford, Atlanta Hawks
Horford suffered a season-ending injury on Dec. 28 but remarkably still leads the Hawks in points, rebounds and blocks. The Hawks won five-straight after going 2-10 in the month of February but have since gone a three-game skid.
David Lee, Golden State Warriors
Averaging 18.5 ppg and 9.4 rpg, Lee has scored double-figures in the last six contests. Lee had 13 and seven in a loss to the Spurs on Saturday and posted 22 on 9-of-11 shooting in a win over the Bucks last Thursday. The Warriors will face Memphis on Friday at 10:30 p.m.
Mike Miller, Memphis Grizzlies
Miller had 11 points, three rebounds and dished three assists in a win over the Timberwolves on Monday and had 13 points and six boards as Memphis took down the Pacers last Saturday. Miller is averaging 7.0 ppg and 1.5 apg.
Erik Murphy, Chicago Bulls
Murphy has seen the hardwood just six minutes in the month of March and will look for court time on Friday as the Bulls take on the Trailblazers at 8 p.m.
Joakim Noah, Chicago Bulls
Consistently improving his numbers, Noah continues to average a double-double with 12.4 ppg and 11.2 rpg. Noah posted double-figures in all four games for the Bulls this week hitting 20, grabbing eight boards and dishing four assists in the win over the Clippers. Noah also had 10 points, eight boards and eight assists as Chicago defeated the Pacers on Monday, 89-77.
Chandler Parsons, Houston Rockets
The Rockets have won four-straight as Parsons is now averaging 16.0 ppg, 5.5 rpg and 4.0 apg. Parsons recorded double-digits in the last three contests, including a 19-point performance in the win over Minnesota last Thursday. The Rockets will play the struggling 76ers tomorrow night at 8 p.m.
Marreese Speights, Golden State Warriors
Speights had 13 points in a win over Orlando last Tuesday for his best output of the month, going 5-of-10 from the field and pulling down eight boards. Since then, Speights has had six points in the last two games and is averaging 5.8 ppg and 3.2 rpg.
