
No. 4 Gators Visit No. 2/3 Tennessee for SEC Weekend Series

Ranked No. 4 in the NFCA/USA Today and ESPN.com / USA Softball polls, the University of Florida softball team will travel this weekend to Knoxville, Tenn., to face No. 2/3 Tennessee. Friday's game begins at 6 p.m. (all times ET), with 1 p.m. starts Saturday and Sunday. Live video can be accessed Friday via Tennessee's Website and GatorZone.com; CSS will broadcast the final two games. Friday radio coverage will be available on ESPN 850; WGGG (1230-AM) has the Saturday and Sunday contests. Live stats will be available via Gametracker on the schedule page of GatorZone.com.
Gator Bites—Quick Notables
Florida is 31-4 (5-4 SEC), while Tennessee has a 28-3 record (5-1 SEC)… The Gators are ranked No. 3 in the first RPI of the season, which was released Monday by the NCAA… The Orange and Blue are tied with in-state rival FSU for the most wins in the country with 31… Florida is undefeated in 25 games this season against nonconference opponents… Senior Hannah Rogers (Lake Wales, Fla.) was announced on Feb. 20 as one of 30 softball finalists for the 2014 Senior CLASS Award, which will be presented at the Women's College World Series.
Looking Back: UCF & Alabama
Kelsey Stewart (Wichita, Kan.) was on base in all four games (hits vs. UCF and Saturday and Sunday vs. Alabama; walk Friday vs. UA); she has reached base in each game this season. The longest reached-base streak in UF history (single season) is 37 games (Michelle Moultrie, 2011)… Wednesday's victory at UCF increased the Gators' record to 5-0 following a loss; the combined score in those three wins is 43-13… Taylore Fuller (Trenton, Fla.) hit her second grand slam of 2014 on Wednesday. The blast was UF's second slam in as many wins and its fifth on the year… Taylor Schwarz (Palm Beach Gardens, Fla.) hit a solo home run vs. UCF; Schwarz has three homers in her last six games following a 19-game drought.

After the series against Tennessee, the Gators return home Wednesday (April 2) to host archrival Florida State at Katie Seashole Pressly Softball Stadium.
