There was plenty for Florida head coach Rhonda Faehn to speak about at Monday's All-Sports Press Conference. The Gators returned to Gainesville last night after their NCAA Championship weekend in Birmingham, Ala.
Florida claimed its second-straight team win last weekend, sharing the 2014 NCAA title with Oklahoma after both teams turned in a meet-record 198.175. It was the first shared national team title of any sport since the NCAA began sponsoring women's championships in 1982.
Florida's 13 All-America honors turned in by six gymnasts was the high total among the NCAA Championships' field. Sophomore Bridget Sloan took the NCAA uneven bars title, giving her the Gators' career lead with three NCAA individual titles (2013 all-around, balance beam; 2014 bars).
