Kourtney Keegan Named SEC Co-Freshman of the Week

For the second consecutive week Florida's Kourtney Keegan (Roswell, Ga.) was recognized as the Southeastern Conference women's tennis co-freshman of the week, the league office announced Wednesday.
The Gator rookie helped Florida record a pair of conference dual match road wins last week against Mississippi State (W, 4-0) and Ole Miss (W, 4-2).
Highlights of Keegan's week:
· Involved in the clinching doubles point victory at Mississippi State at the No. 1 position, as the No. 3 teams were locked at 6-all
· Kourtney Keegan collected a pair of straight-set singles victories in both dual match road wins last week.
· Keegan earned her 28th overall singles win, the second-most on the team; she improved to 13-4 in dual matches, including 6-1 in SEC matches.
· Keegan paired with senior Olivia Janowicz against Mississippi State and won her team-leading 30th doubles match of the season; Janowicz and Keegan improved to 12-2 as a tandem.
· Her singles win in the match at Ole Miss gave UF a 3-2 lead and swung the momentum in her team's favor.
The No. 11 Gators play their final two regular-season matches this week, beginning Friday when Florida puts it 129-home match win streak on the line against No. 5 Vanderbilt.
The win streak is the longest active home-win streak of any NCAA Division I women's team in any sport.
