Conference Champions Florida and Kansas Headline SEC-Big 12 Challenge Dec. 5 in Lawrence

With both teams coming off another conference championship, Florida and Kansas will once again highlight the SEC-Big 12 Challenge in its second year.
After UF held off the Jayhawks in the inaugural event last season, the reigning SEC champions will pay a return visit to Lawrence to take on the reigning Big 12 champions on Friday, Dec. 5.
The game at Kansas marks the second non-conference matchup announced for the Gators' 2014-15 slate, in addition to a Dec. 20 meeting with Wake Forest in the Orange Bowl Classic. The Gators are also set to compete in the Battle 4 Atlantis Nov. 26-28, with the opening-round matchup yet to be determined.

This season's 10-game SEC-Big 12 Challenge will be more condensed than the inaugural version, being held over the course of one four-day span from Dec. 3-6, with all contests set to air on ESPN, ESPN2 or ESPNU. Times and specific network assignments will be announced at a later date.
