FLORIDA NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP NOTABLES
· Florida's six track and field national championships came in the form of a women's indoor title in 1992, before the men's squad struck for three consecutive indoor championships from 2010-12. UF doubled up indoors and outdoors on the men's side in 2012, bringing home the first outdoor title that year before making it back-to-back championships by tying for the crown in 2013
· Florida's five men's track & field national championships since 2010 compose nearly half of the Gators' 11 titles since 2010
· The Gators are compiling national championship trophies at an impressive rate since winning their second football national title in 2006. Florida's athletic program has won 15 national titles over that span, adding 11 since the 2009-10 sports calendar
· Florida's 15 national titles since 2006 lead the SEC, and the Gators have won multiple national titles in each of the last five years
· The University of Florida owns 33 national titles (31 NCAA and 2 AIAW).
· The Gators have won 24 national titles since 1992 when Jeremy Foley took over as UF's athletic director
· Softball's 2014 title on June 3rd became the 13th UF sport to win an NCAA or football national title, a total which stands fourth all-time among the nation's programs and is tops among SEC programs
