
Eleven Gators earn NACGC Scholastic All-America honors

Eleven members of the University of Florida's NCAA Championship team were recognized by the National Association of Collegiate Gymnastics Coaches (NACGC) for their 2013-14 grade point averages. The NACGC recognizes the academic accomplishments of collegiate gymnastics teams each season.
The Gators posted a 3.5162 cumulative team GPA for the 2013-14 academic year, which stands among the top 10 GPAs among the nation's gymnastics programs.

To qualify for the NACGC Scholastic All-America team, a gymnast must have a GPA of 3.50 for either the preceding academic year or have a cumulative GPA of 3.50 or above at the nominating institution.
Johnson and Rose were recognized as NACGC Scholastic All-Americans each year of their collegiate careers. Shisler, Spicer and Wang make their third consecutive appearance on the list.
In 2014, the Gator gymnastics team won its second consecutive NCAA Championships. Six Gators tallied 13 All-America honors in NCAA action.
