Stewart, Moultrie Travel to Europe with USA Softball

University of Florida infielder Kelsey Stewart and Gator alumna Michelle Moultrie will compete in Europe during the next three weeks with the United States national team. The Stars and Stripes will take part in Italian Softball Week, which runs Thursday through Sunday in Azzano, Italy, before the ISF XIV Women's World Championship is held Aug. 12-24 in Haarlem, Netherlands.
Italian Softball Week features the USA, Australia and Italy in a three-team event in preparation for the World Championship. The World Championship will mark the final international event of the summer season. Previously, Team USA won the World Cup of Softball and finished second at the Canadian Open Fastpitch International.
