
Gators Release Fall Schedule; Will Host Florida Tournament

The Florida Gators lacrosse team announced its fall schedule of exhibition games. The Gators are scheduled to play three weekend's worth of games in October, including the team's second annual alumni game.
DMV BOUND
Florida opens its exhibition schedule by traveling to Alexandria, Va. on Oct. 4 to play the University of Virginia. The game will be played at St. Stephens & St. Agnes School. The following day, the team will head north to Baltimore to play in the Loyola Tournament, hosted by Loyola University.
SUNSHINE STATE LACROSSE
On Sunday, Oct. 19, the team hosts the Florida Tournament, featuring Jacksonville, Stetson and Winthrop. Over the course of the day, the four schools will play a total of five games at Donald R. Dizney Stadium.
LAST TUNE UP
The Gators conclude their fall schedule with a weekend trip to Durham, N.C. from Oct. 25-26. During the two-day trip, UF is scheduled to play Duke and Michigan on Saturday and take part in the Duke Fall Tournament on Sunday.
The Gators start their first season as an affiliate member of the BIG EAST Conference in 2015. The past five seasons, Florida played in the American Lacrosse Conference (ALC), winning four regular season titles and two tournament titles.
