Campus-Wide #GatorRace Coming in October
Tuesday, September 23, 2014 | Football
If you can quickly navigate Florida's campus and rapidly decipher clues about famous landmarks on campus, than a front row seat for the Missouri football game may be in your future.
On Wednesday, Oct. 8 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., students can participate in the Florida Gators' scavenger hunt - #GatorRace.
Beginning around 10:45 a.m., six different clues will be tweeted out from @GZStudents about six different locations throughout UF's campus and athletic facilities.
Once students think they have figured out the clue, they will have to race to the location and find a representative holding a sign with the hashtag #GatorRace on it. After students arrive at the correct location, they must tweet a photo of themselves at the location and use #GatorRace. The first 40 students to arrive at each location will receive a small prize.
The first team to go to every location and tweet a photo with the hashtag #GatorRace wins the grand prize of front row tickets for them and several friends for the Missouri game. Teams are allowed for the race, but may be no larger than four people.
