
Gators Open Two-Game SEC Road Trip at Missouri on Sunday

Florida embarks on a two-game SEC road tip that gets underway Sunday at Missouri, where tip-off from Mizzou Arena is scheduled for 4 p.m. ET (3 p.m. CT).
Sunday is the first of two regular-season meetings between Florida and Missouri. The teams play again in 17 days - January 29 - in Gainesville.
The Gators sport a 2-3 road record this year, including their 13-point win at Auburn (Jan. 4) in the team's lone SEC victory to date.
Florida and Missouri: The Series
· both games in the series between Florida and Missouri have been won by the Tigers; and both have been by five points
· In the two series games, the Tigers have scorched the Gators from beyond the arc, converting 19-of-44 (43.2 percent).
· Tiger senior sharpshooter Morgan Eye has drilled 47.6 percent (10-21) during the two games against the Gators.

· Thanks to her 15-point outburst against Ole Miss (Jan. 8), sophomore Ronni Williams has regained her spot atop UF's scoring chart. Williams is averaging 10.1 points, while converting 50.4 percent from the floor and blocking 10 shots.
· Lone senior Kayla Lewis patrols the paint for UF, collecting 6.9 rebounds per game, along with 9.6 points.
· Cassie Peoples leads the Gators in assists (61) and steals (39). She had led the team in scoring until the Jan. 8 home loss to Ole Miss, against whom she scored 7 points.
Quick Scout: Missouri
· She's the “Eye of the Tiger” - really, it's just that easy! Morgan Eye is one of the best three-point shooters in the country. Eye needs a mere 65 threes to become the nation's all-time leader in three pointers. Eye leads the SEC in made threes per game (2.8) and sports the fourth-highest conversion rate (36.3 percent).
Who's Hot
· Since suffering a high ankle sprain during the game at St. John's (Nov. 20), Ronni Williams is finally back in the groove. In the last five games, the sophomore post is averaging a team-leading 11.6 points with 6.2 rebounds, while hitting 50 percent from the floor.
· She has also converted a steady 70 percent (14-20) from the free throw line during the five-game span.
What's Not
· It's still not great, but it's getting better - the Gator's shooting efforts from all over the court.
· Over the last five games, UF is sinking 66.7 percent from the free throw line and 39.7 percent of all its field goals, including 20 percent (29-100) from the three-point arc.
· Junior Cassie Peoples, however, has remaining her steady self from the line, converting 83.3 percent (10-12) during the last five games. Overall, she sinks 86.8 percent (46-53) from the stripe and leads all SEC players in accuracy.
