GAINESVILLE, Fla. -- Highlighting this week's performances was Bradley Beal, as he came very close to notching his first career triple-double in a 99-90 win over Brooklyn last Saturday. He ended the contest with 17 points (5-12 FG, 2-6 3Pt, 5-6 FT), nine rebounds, eight assists, and one steal in 39 minutes.
Bradley Beal, Washington Wizards
After missing Washington's first nine games due to a wrist injury, Beal has played in every game since for the 29-13 Wizards, as he is averaging 14.8 ppg., 3.7 rpg., 3.4 apg., and 1.4 spg. This past week, the shooting guard recorded his best game in a win against the Nets, as Beal came very close to notching his first career triple-double, ending the victory 17 points (5-12 FG, 2-6 3Pt, 5-6 FT), nine rebounds, eight assists, and one steal in 39 minutes.

Corey Brewer, Houston Rockets
Corey Brewer was dealt from the Timberwolves to the Rockets on Dec. 19 and has played in 16 games for Houston thus far.
