Gators Ranked No. 4 in Nike/Lacrosse Magazine Preseason Poll

The Florida Gators were ranked No. 4 in the Nike/Lacrosse Magazine Division I Women's Preseason Top 20 rankings, as announced by the Baltimore-based magazine on Monday.
The Gators' 2015 schedule features six opponents who appear in the top-20, including Maryland (No. 1), North Carolina (No. 2) and Syracuse (No. 3). Florida opens the season against North Carolina on Saturday, Feb. 7, at Donald R. Dizney Stadium at 11:30 a.m.
This is the second preseason poll to be released. UF was ranked No. 3 in Inside Lacrosse's Preseason Poll back in December.
Florida begins its first season as an affiliate member of the BIG EAST Conference in 2015 after spending the last five seasons in the American Lacrosse Conference (ALC), winning four-consecutive regular season conference championships along with two ALC Tournament titles in 2012 and 2014.
