
Three Gators to Compete with USA Softball Junior Women’s National Team

Gator freshman Nicole DeWitt and 2014 Florida signee Kelly Barnhill both were named to the USA Softball Junior Women's National Team, announced Monday by the Amateur Softball Association of America. In addition to the two players, UF Head Coach Tim Walton will serve as an assistant coach for the squad. The 17-player team is slated to participate in the World Cup of Softball X in Southern California in July and the International Softball Federation (ISF) Junior Women's World Championship in August in Oklahoma City.
Gator Great Michelle Moultrie and Florida infielder Kelsey Stewart are among the 33 players who received invitations to the USA Softball Women's National Team selection camp, which will run today thru Wednesday.
