
Florida Swimming in the Top-25 Polls: Week 2

GAINESVILLE, Fla. -- The University of Florida men's and women's swimming and diving teams remain among college swimming's Top-5 rankings in the most recent polls. The Gator men remain at the No. 1 spot for the second straight week while the UF women sit at No. 5.
The Gator men have a point total of 789.69, based off their most recent win over No. 9 Minnesota on October 10 (174.50-125.50). The UF men are one of six SEC schools ranked among the Top-25, joining Georgia (second), Auburn (third), Alabama (fifth), South Carolina (11th) and Missouri (12th).
On the women's side, UF comes in at No. 5 with 746.76 points, following a win over Vanderbilt on Oct. 8, and a tie with No. 7 Minnesota on Oct. 10. The Gator women are one of eight SEC schools ranked among the Top-25, joining Georgia (first), Auburn (second), Alabama (fourth), Arkansas (12th), Kentucky (14th), Missouri (16th), and South Carolina (20th).
The UF men and women return to action Friday, when they square off in a two-day double-dual against Texas and Indiana inside the Lee and Joe Jamail Texas Swimming Center in Austin, Texas.
