GAINESVILLE, Fla. -- University of Florida Associate Head Coaches Martyn Wilby and Anthony Nesty addressed the media on Monday following a two day double-dual in Austin Texas. The UF men swept an Indiana team which placed 12th a season ago at the NCAA Championships while showcasing a number of strong races against the defending National Champions in Texas.
Caeleb Dressel took down former club teammate and defending NCAA 100 Yard butterfly champion, Joseph Schooling, on Friday night, in just one of his three wins on the weekend.
On the women's side, the Orange and Blue had a strong showing against a pair of 2015 NCAA Top-10 finishers in Texas and Indiana. Kahlia Warner dominated the diving events -- sweeping both the one and three meters on Friday night with a pair of NCAA Diving Standards. Senior Natalie Hinds added on to the success with a quartet of wins through the two-day event.
In today's presser, Coach Wilby and Nesty discuss the weekend's competition and UF's upcoming meet with the SEC-rivaling Georgia Bulldogs.
