The University of Florida women's tennis players Anna Danilina and Brianna Morgan have advanced through the pre-qualifying rounds to the qualifying rounds of the Riviera/ITA All-American Championships in Pacific Palisades, Calif.
The Gator duo defeated No. 7-seeded Lucia Butkovska and Maja Mladenovic, 8-2 in the second round on Sunday morning. The newcomer and senior then had to face Pepperdine's Laura Gulbe and Dzina Milovanovic in order to advance out of the pre-qualifying rounds. Danilina and Morgan cruised to an 8-2 victory and a spot in the qualifying draw that begins Tuesday.
Play at the Riviera Tennis Club continues Tuesday morning with the first round of the qualifying singles draw. No. 24 Morgan, No. 32 Belinda Woolcock and No. 38 Kourtney Keegan will all compete in singles action. In doubles, Morgan and Danilina will continue their doubles run with their fourth match in as many days on Tuesday.

About the Riviera:
The Riviera Tennis Club in Pacific Palisades, Calif., will serve as the host site for the 2015 Riviera/ITA Women's All-American Championships. The national championship, considered the first leg of the collegiate grand slam, is set to begin on Saturday, October 3 with the pre-qualifying singles and doubles matches. Qualifying matches will be played October 6-7 and main draw action is slated to start Thursday, October 8 through Sunday, October 11.

What's at Stake:
Main draw singles semifinalists, main draw doubles finalists and main draw consolation champions will receive automatic entry into the USTA/ITA National Indoor Collegiate Championships, Nov. 12-15 at the USTA Billie Jean King National Tennis Center in Flushing, New York.
