GAINESVILLE, Fla. – The Gators held their annual media day and several members of the team sat down with GatorVision to talk about the 2015-16 season.
Today's special one-on-one interview is with sophomore guard Dyandria Anderson (pronounced: dee-ANN-dree-uh)

OF NOTE:
· Nickname is “Dee” but requests that all media references use “Dyandria”
· As a sophomore, can declare her major in November of 2015 and plans to pursue a degree in Sport Management
· Spent the entire 2015 summer taking classes at UF and working out
· Her entire family frequently made the three-hour drive to Gainesville for home games during her freshman year
· Enrolled at UF for the 2014 Summer B semester (June)
· Has a twin brother, Kendall, who attends Eastern Florida State College
· When they were babies, Kendall used to climb over Dyandria to get out of the crib
· Her older brother Chris and her twin brother both played high school basketball
· Was a Little League Softball state champion, playing shortstop

· First career start came against Charleston Southern (November 25) – her fourth collegiate game
· First significant playing time in SEC was vs. Ole Miss (January 8): 17 minutes, 6 points, 3 rebounds, 3 steals
· During a 37-second span against Southern (December 21) in first half, had two steals (both led to points), one assist and one field goal
· Bucketed first career 3-pointer in then-career-high 17 minutes played vs. Virginia Tech (December 1)
· Entered season-opener against Jacksonville (November 14) at the 13:10 mark of the first half and scored 74 seconds later on a jumper in the paint (12:34 remaining in the half)
· Finished collegiate debut with a season-high seven points (3-4 FG, 1-2 FT), two rebounds, two assists and two steals in 15 minutes
