
Bullard, Hargreaves Selected as Semifinalists for the Bednarik Award

University of Florida defensive lineman Jon Bullard and cornerback Vernon Hargreaves III were selected as semifinalists for the 2015 Bednarik Award, the Maxwell Football Club President Ron Jaworski announced on Monday.
Bullard leads the Gator defense with 10.5 tackles for a loss during the 2015 season. The Gator senior has also become a force in opponents' backfields as he has produced 4.5 sacks and five quarterback hurries.
Hargreaves leads the team with four interceptions and 152 return yards. The Tampa, Fla. native has anchored the Gators defensive backs and amassed 23 tackles, 15 of those being unassisted.
The winner 21st Chuck Bednarik Award will be announced as part of the Home Depot College Football Awards Show which will be broadcast on ESPN on December 10, 2015 from the College Football Hall of Fame in Atlanta. Three finalists for each award will be announced on November 24, 2015 and a second round of voting will take place at that time.
