Monday, November 23, 2015 | Women's Basketball
GAINESVILLE, Fla. – The Gators cap a three-game homestand when they play host to Savannah State on Tuesday at 7 p.m. in the O'Connell Center.
The Gators are coming off a pair of impressive wins to start the home campaign, first posting an 82-72 upset victory against No. 6/7 Florida State, followed by an 84-57 decision against Kennesaw State on Saturday.
Tuesday's game also is the first of a four-game run Florida will play in eight days and in three different states.
Quotes from the Court – UF Head Coach Amanda Butler:
“Savannah State is a tough, scrappy team that is coming off a fantastic season last year when they went to the NCAA Tournament. They had a record-breaking season in many ways and they have our full attention right now. We're trying to make the most of our practice opportunities and generate some consistency in our performances.”
