Gators Leads Nation in 8 Events, 15 SEC

GAINESVILLE, Fla. -- Fourteen members from College Swimming's top-ranked University of Florida men's team and fifth-ranked women's swimming and diving teams have combined to lead the Southeastern Conference in 15 separate events (short course yards & diving). In addition, the Orange and Blue also hold the country's fastest national times in eight separate events.
The Gator men and women are coming off a remarkable weekend at the Buckeye Invitational which saw a number of these SEC-leading and National top times go down.

Looking ahead, the Gator swimmers will return to action Thursday, December 3, competing in Federal Way, Washington at the USA Swimming Nationals. Florida's divers will spend a few weeks away from competition before they return on December 15, at the USA Diving Nationals in Federal Way, Washington.
