GAINESVILLE, Fla. -- The Gators will be without leading receiver Demarcus Robinson tonight against Florida State.
The team released a statement on Twitter that said Robinson "made a choice and will not play in tonight's game."
Robinson has a team-high 47 catches and is second on the team behind true freshman Antonio Callaway in receiving yards with 505. However, Robinson did not catch a pass last week and has only two receptions since a 9-catch, 106-yard game against Vanderbilt.
A junior, Robinson has started eight games and appeared in all 11 this season.
