Gators Announce Date Change For Camp

GAINESVILLE, Fla. – The University of Florida baseball program has announced a date change for its PRE-SEASON instructional baseball camp. Previously to be held on Sunday, Jan. 10, it will now be on Sunday, Jan. 24 at McKethan Stadium. These camps focus on the same basic fundamental skills and mechanics in regards to hitting, pitching and defensive skills that help prepare the Gators for the toughest conference in college baseball. 2016 Gator Baseball PRE-SEASON Prospect Camp
PITCHING / CATCHING SESSION
Sunday, January 24, 2016
10:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m.
Ages
This session of the camp is designed for HIGH SCHOOL PROSPECTS graduating from 2016-2019. The session will consist of pitching instruction, in the areas of pitching mechanics, bullpen work, arm care, holding runners and PFP fundamentals. Catchers will be instructed in the areas of receiving, blocking and throwing mechanics, as well as other fundamentals unique to the catching position. Catchers will catch live bullpens and be instructed throughout.
Cost
The cost of the session is $75. A Gator Baseball t-shirt is given to every camper.
*One shirt per camper per day*
Check-In
Check-in takes place between 9:45–10:15 am. You must have all paperwork at this time, or the camper will not be able to participate.
*CAMP DISCOUNT - Any HIGH SCHOOL PROSPECT attending TWO of the Pre-Season Camp sessions will receive the THIRD session for FREE. The cost totaling all three sessions is $150.

DEFENSIVE INFIELD/ OUTFIELD SESSION

This session of the camp is designed for HIGH SCHOOL PROSPECTS graduating from 2016-2019. The session will consist of infield and outfield instruction. This instruction will cover all the fundamentals and drills used by the Gator Baseball SEC Tournament Championship team.
Cost
The cost of the camps is $75. A Gator Baseball t-shirt is given to every camper.

Check-in takes place between12:30–1 p.m. You must have all paperwork at this time, or the camper will not be able to participate.

This session of the camp is designed for HIGH SCHOOL PROSPECTS graduating from 2016-2019. The session will consist of offensive instruction, in the areas of hitting mechanics, bunting and base running. Hitters will take batting practice in the cage and on the field. They will be instructed by current Gator Baseball Staff and Players.

The cost of the camps is $75. A Gator Baseball t-shirt is given to every camper.
