GAINESVILLE, Fla. – Following a season-opening loss to No. 2 North Carolina on Saturday, the No. 4 Florida Gators will look to rebound against the Jacksonville Dolphins on Wednesday at 7 p.m. at D.B. Milne Field.
Under sixth-year head coach Amanda O'Leary, Florida is an impressive 13-3 following a loss. In addition, the Gators boast a 5-0 all-time record against their Sunshine State neighbors and hold an 84-29 goal-scoring advantage during that time.
Back From Injury
After going down with a knee injury in the 2014 season opener and missing the rest of the year, redshirt junior Nicole Graziano returned to the UF starting lineup on Saturday and had a career day. She not only set a career high for draw controls (6), but she tied a career high with two assists and chipped in with two goals. She also scooped up three ground balls and caused two turnovers.
Sellout Crowd
Saturday's crowd of 1,256 was the third-highest total in the history of Florida lacrosse and the highest regular-season attendance since the first-ever Florida home lacrosse game on Feb. 20, 2010 when 2,114 fans came to Donald R. Dizney Stadium.
