SEC Championships: Day Three Prelim Results

AUBURN, Ala. – The University of Florida No. 1 men's and No.4-ranked women's swimming & diving teams competed in the day three prelims at the SEC Championships in the James E. Martin Aquatic Center in Auburn, Ala.
Today's prelims featured the men's and women's 200-yard freestyle, 100-yard butterfly and 400-yard individual medley events and the men's three-meter dive. The Gators had 31 swimmers and divers compete this morning.
Tonight's finals, which begin at 7:00 p.m. ET, will have the same events that were in this morning's prelims. UF had 25 swimmers qualify for tonight's finals and two individual's clock NCAA automatic qualifying marks during the morning. On the boards, redshirt freshman Dalton Goss missed out on the three-meter dive finals as he finished placed 16th in the prelims with a score of 296.10.
Florida's men are in second place, while the Gator women are in third entering tonight's finals.
