Nine former Florida football players participated in the 2015 NFL Scouting Combine over the weekend at Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis. Defensive end/linebacker Dante Fowler, Jr., and offensive lineman D.J. Humphries earned high marks for their performances and could have worked their way into the first round of the 2015 NFL Draft, held April 30 in Chicago.
Also performing well were running back Matt Jones, among the leading running backs in the 40-yard dash, 20-yard shuttle and bench press, and offensive lineman Chaz Green, whose athleticism showed with the 11th-fastest 40-yard dash among offensive linemen and top-15 performances in the vertical jump and broad jump.
