
No. 4 Gators Host Ivy League Foe Dartmouth on Saturday

GAINESVILLE, Fla. – The No. 4 Gators (3-1) will host Dartmouth (0-1) on Saturday (Feb. 28) at 1 p.m. at Donald R. Dizney Stadium.
Florida enters the game riding a three-game winning streak, having outscored its opponents, 55-15, during that time. This will be the fourth matchup between the two schools with Florida holding a 3-0 series lead. The last meeting between the two teams came on March 18, 2014 in Gainesville when the Gators defeated the Big Green, 14-7.

- Florida is 4-0 all-time against teams from the Ivy League.
- Junior goalie Mary-Sean Wilcox was named BIG EAST Defensive Player of the Week this week becoming the second-consecutive Gator to win the award after sophomore defender Caroline Fitzgerald won it the previous week. Freshman Shayna Pirreca and Senior Shannon Gilroy picked up Honor Roll awards.
- Gilroy and Nora Barry were named to the Tewaaraton Award watch list on Thursday night. The pair of seniors are two of 50 players from around the nation named to the sport's top postseason award.
- Since falling to No. 2 UNC in the season opener, Florida has bounced back with three wins, outscoring its opponents, 55-15.
- Gilroy needs just eight goals to pass Kitty Cullen (2010-13) as the programs all-time leading goal scorer. She enters Saturday's game with 196 career goals.
- Entering Saturday, Gilroy ranks tied for sixth nationally with 14 goals despite playing sparingly in UF's game vs. Michigan due to illness.
- Gilroy (14 goals) and sophomore Mollie Stevens (11 goals) have combined for 25 goals this season and are one of just three sets of teammates in the country to have scored at least 11 goals each.
- Florida ranks No. 4 in the Intercollegiate Women's Lacrosse Coaches Association (IWLCA) Poll and No. 5 in the Media Poll.
