Florida head coach Jim McElwain will sign his first UF recruiting class Wednesday.
GAINESVILLE, Fla. – National Signing Day, a day unlike any other on the calendar, is upon us.
And this year offers a different twist for the Florida Gators.
Florida began to retool its program with the hiring of head coach Jim McElwain in December. In his first two months on the job, McElwain has worked to assemble his first recruiting class and start building a team he envisions competing for championships in the future.
The Gators have gained some late momentum on the recruiting trail and hope to close strong on Wednesday. The National Letters of Intent will begin arriving in Florida's football offices early in the morning.
