
Gators Announce Scrimmage Schedule at McKethan Stadium

GAINESVILLE, Fla. – The University of Florida baseball team will continue its preparation for next Friday's season opener with several scrimmages at McKethan Stadium. Practices will be held starting at 2:30 p.m. on Thursday and Friday, Saturday at 3 p.m. and Sunday at 12 p.m., with scrimmages to follow each day.
In addition, the team will be signing autographs before the UF-Kentucky men's basketball game on Saturday at the Stephen C. O'Connell Center between 8-8:45 p.m. This will be held as part of Alligator Alley, located between Gates 1 & 2 in the O'Connell Center.

The Gators will begin their 2015 campaign on February 13 against Rhode Island. UF's 56-game schedule features 35 games within the friendly confines of McKethan Stadium at Perry Field, where the squad is 198-63 (.759) during Kevin O'Sullivan's tenure. Florida went 40-23 last season and brought home its third Southeastern Conference title in the past five years on its way to becoming a national seed for NCAA play for the fifth time in six years. The incoming class has been ranked No. 3 by Collegiate Baseball, the program's sixth consecutive time in the top eight of the publication's list.
