
Inclement Weather Cancels Sunday’s Game at San Diego State

San Diego – Sunday's games at the San Diego Classic I, including No. 1 Florida's contest against tournament co-host San Diego State, have been canceled because of inclement weather and unplayable field conditions. No games will be made up.
The Gators (21-0) finished as co-champions with a 4-0 record at the tournament. Florida defeated No. 2 Oregon (3-0) and Cal Poly (6-1) on Friday before besting UC Davis (9-0, 5 innings) and event co-host San Diego (8-0, 5 innings) on Saturday.
UP NEXT
Florida will play a midweek game on Wednesday at Long Beach State. First pitch is scheduled for 5 p.m. ET. WGGG (1230-AM) will have the radio broadcast with Corey Brooks (play-by-play) and Megan Bush (analysis) on the call. In addition, a live stats link can be found on the schedule page on GatorZone.com.
Following Wednesday's game, the Gators will head to Fullerton, Calif., to compete in the Judi Garman Classic. Hosted by Cal State Fullerton, UF will play five games over three days beginning Thursday.
