
Tomlinson Tabbed SEC Women’s Freshman Golfer of the Week

A top-25 finish at the SunTrust Gator Women's Invitational led University of Florida golfer Taylor Tomlinson to be named SEC Freshman Golfer of the Week, the conference announced Thursday.
Freshman Tomlinson finished in the top-25 for the fourth time this season at the SunTrust Gator Invitational, using a +2 (72) in Round 3 to tie for 21st as she carded a mark of 226.
The Gainesville, Fla. native, has competed in the Gators' lineup in every tournament this season and has a season stroke average of 75.0, with four even or under par rounds.
Up Next for the Gators: The Orange and Blue will travel to Charleston, S.C. on March 23-24 to compete at the Briar's Creek Invitational hosted by the College of Charleston.
