GAINESVILLE, Fla. – Looking to continue its four-game winning streak, No.4 Florida (4-1) hosts No. 17 Loyola (Md.) (1-2) on Tuesday at 1 p.m. at Donald R. Dizney Stadium.
Tuesday's game could end up being a historical game for senior Shannon Gilroy, who is chasing former Gator Kitty Cullen (2010-13) for first place on UF's all-time goal scoring list. Gilroy enters the contest with 202 career goals, just two shy of surpassing Cullen.
This will be the third meeting between the two schools with the Gators holding a 2-0 series advantage. Last year, the two squads engaged in a back-and-forth contest with Florida edging Loyola, 14-13, in Baltimore, Maryland.
