NASHVILLE, Tenn. – After five years in the American Lacrosse Conference (ALC) where they won four regular season and two tournament titles, the No. 6 Gators (6-4) open their first season in the BIG EAST Conference in Nashville, Tennessee, against Vanderbilt (3-5) at 1 p.m. EST on Sunday.
Florida and Vanderbilt both were members of the ALC before the conference's dissolution following the 2014 season. The two squads have faced off six times since 2010 with the Gators holding a 4-2 series advantage and have won the last four meetings.
In January, the Orange & Blue was unanimously picked to win the BIG EAST.
