
NCAA Championships: Day One Prelim Results

IOWA CITY, IA – The University of Florida men's swimming & diving team competed in the day one prelims of the NCAA Championships at the Campus Recreation and Wellness Center Natatorium in Iowa City, Iowa.
Today's prelims featured five time trial races and the one-meter dive. In the pool, the Gators qualified 13 individuals for tonight's finals, including seven Gators who will be in the A-Final and will be competing for an NCAA Championship.
Tonight's finals, which begin at 7 p.m., will feature the same events that were swam during prelims. Fans can watch the finals here.
The top eight times (places 1-8) in each preliminary race, including relays, advanced to the finals and will earn NCAA All-America honors. The next eight times (places 9-16) will swim in the 'B' final and earn NCAA All-America honorable mention. The top 16 finishers will score points for their team.
