(UPDATE) TIME CHANGE for Gators' SEC Tournament First Round Game
Wednesday, March 4, 2015 | Women's Basketball
LITTLE ROCK, Arkansas – The START TIME for Florida's first round SEC Women's Basketball Tournament game against Auburn today at The Verizon Arena has been moved to 5 p.m. ET (4 p.m. CT) due to projected winter weather in the Central Arkansas area.
Game 2 between Vanderbilt and Alabama will start 25 minutes after the conclusion of the Gator game.
Because weather may preclude some fans from being able to attend the first day of the tournament, unused tickets from Wednesday's games may be used for general admission seating for any remaining session of the tournament.
Tournament and city officials will continue to monitor the weather and will make a determination early Thursday if there will be any adjustments to the game times for the second round of the tournament.
Wednesday's time change will NOT alter Florida's radio broadcast plans. Fans can tune into the game locally on WRUF-850AM and on their internet at www.wruf.com beginning at 4:45 p.m. ET for the pregame show with Adam Schick and Brittany Davis.
Television Update: Florida's game against Auburn now will air on the SEC Network primary channel, while the second game between Vanderbilt and Alabama will remain on SEC Network Alternate channel.
Fans can go to www.GetSECNetwork.com to find the specific channel in their viewing area.
