
No. 4 Gators to Host Niagara on Saturday

GAINESVILLE, Fla. – The No. 4 Florida Gators (5-1) will look to keep their five-game winning streak alive when the Niagara Purple Eagles (1-2) visit Donald R. Dizney Stadium on Saturday at 1 p.m.
It will be the first-ever meeting between the two schools. Florida enters Saturday coming off an 11-8 victory over No. 17 Loyola (Md.) last Tuesday, while Niagara last played against Ohio State on March 1, falling, 15-2, to the Buckeyes.

· Florida is 3-0 all-time vs. teams from the Metro Atlantic Conference and has outscored those teams, 60-15
· Florida's offense is one of the top scoring units in the nation, ranking fourth in points (134), seventh in scoring offense (15.83 goals per game) and 13th in scoring margin (7.50)
· Senior Shannon Gilroy was named BIG EAST Attacker of the Week and against Loyola became UF's all-time scoring leader with 204 goals, surpassing the mark of 203 held by Kitty Cullen (2010-13)
· Gilroy ranks second nationally with 22 goals and is the NCAA's active career goal scoring leader (204)
· Seniors Nora Barry (105) and Shannon Gilroy (204) have combined for 309 career goals, the most of any active D1 duo
· Gilroy (22), Mollie Stevens (15) and Nicole Graziano (14) are one of three trios in the country to score 14 goals or more each. The other two schools to accomplish the feat are Delaware and Louisville. In addition, the trio has combined for 53 goals which is tied for the most among a trio of teammates in the country
· Florida ranks No. 4 in the Intercollegiate Women's Lacrosse Coaches Association (IWLCA) Poll and No. 6 in the Media Poll
