
UF Women’s Golf Set to Compete In Final Regular-Season Tourney, the Bryan National Collegiate

The Gator women's golf team will travel to Greensboro, N.C., for the Bryan National Collegiate on April 3-5.
Florida has finished in the top three at its last three tournaments, highlighted by its first tournament win of the season at the Briar's Creek Invitational in its most recent action. During the Gators' last time on the links, four members of the squad finished in the top 25, including individual runner-up Kelly Grassel.
Last season at the Bryan National, the Orange and Blue placed ninth overall at +51 (915).
Course Information: Bryan Park Golf and Enrichment Center is a par-72, 6,386-yard course.
Tournament Information: The tournament will run from Friday-Sunday, April 3-5, and is co-hosted by UNC Greensboro and Wake Forest.
Format: 54-hole stroke play where teams will play three rounds consisting of 18 holes each day.
Tee Times:
Friday: 8:20 a.m. off of holes #1 and #10
Saturday: 8:20 a.m. off of holes #1 and #10
Sunday: 8:30 a.m. - Shotgun start
The Gators' Lineup:
Sophomore Karolina Vlckova: Owns the team's best season stroke average of 73.9 strokes per round. She has finished in the top-10 at the Gators' last two tournaments, including tying for sixth at the Briar's Creek Invitational.
Freshman Taylor Tomlinson: Tomlinson was named the SEC Freshman Golfer of the Week for the second time this season following her top-25 finish at the Briar's Creek Invitational. It was the rookie's fifth top-25 finish of the campaign.
Sophomore Maria Torres: Steadily improved during the Briar's Creek Invitational, recording rounds of 76-73-72 to tie for 21st place overall.
Senior Camilla Hedberg: Last year at the Bryan National, Hedberg tied for third individually, finishing 4-over (220) for the tournament.
Senior Anna Young: The senior will make her way into the Gators' lineup for the first time this season. Young competed as an individual at the SunTrust Gator Invitational, and finished in a tie for 10th with a total of 224 strokes.
Head Coach Emily Glaser Says: “No matter what happens this weekend in Greensboro, I think we're headed in the right direction. For our team, we have to take each week and each tournament on a case-by-case basis and go and leave it all out on the golf course. Regardless of what happens, we'll come back and keep trying to improve and work on those little things that will help us at the SEC Championship in a couple of weeks.”
