
Florida Ranks No. 8 in Polls

GAINESVILLE, Fla. – The Florida Gators lacrosse team ranks No. 8 in the Intercollegiate Women's Lacrosse Coaching Association (IWLCA) Poll and No. 8 in the Media Poll, as announced by both outlets on Monday.
In the IWLCA Poll, the Gators earned 257 points. In the Media Poll, the team received 165 points, up 11 points from last week.
Florida improved to 11-4 and 5-0 in the BIG EAST this week after defeating Marquette on the road and Villanova on Saturday at home.
The Gators wrap up the regular season this week and will look to remain perfect in conference play. On Wednesday, Florida plays its last home game of the regular season against Cincinnati (2-12, 0-4), and then travels to take on Connecticut (8-5, 3-1) on Saturday.
