GAINESVILLE, Fla. - After the Gators third-consecutive NCAA Championship win, Florida head coach Rhonda Faehn had lots to talk about at Monday's All-Sports Press Conference. The Gators returned to Gainesville last night after their NCAA Championship weekend in Fort Worth, Texas.
Florida claimed the team title last weekend, with a 197.85 – 197.80 edge over runner-up Utah. The margin of victory matches the slenderest in the 34-year history of the meet.
Five Gators earned a total of 13 All-America honors. Senior Kytra Hunter won the NCAA floor exercise and shared the all-around title, giving her the Gators' career lead with four NCAA individual titles. As a freshman, she won the 2012 all-around and vault crowns.
