J.D. Tomlinson and Alejandro Tosti Collect All-SEC Honors

GAINESVILLE, Fla. – The University of Florida men's golf team's J.D. Tomlinson and Alejandro Tosti were named to the All-SEC teams, the league announced Thursday.
Tomlinson received Second Team All-SEC accolades. With a team-best stroke average of 71.48, the senior also owns Florida's lowest differential, averaging 3.12 strokes off the lead per round. He's placed in the top-five three times, the top-10 six times and the top-25 nine times this season. He's the only Gator to record more than 100 birdies this year and has led UF as its top finisher in the last six tournaments.
Tosti was one of five golfers selected for the All-Freshman Team. After enrolling at Florida in January, the newcomer made an immediate impact. Tosti's stroke average of 72.11 is second only to Tomlinson's, and he's earned a top-25 finish in five of the six tournaments he's participated in as a Gator.
