
Three Freshmen Set to Join Men's Basketball for 2015-16

GAINESVILLE, Fla. – The Florida Gators have three incoming freshmen signed to National Letters of Intent who plan to enroll at UF and join the men's basketball program for the 2015-16 season.
All three of the signees are ranked in the top 80 of the ESPN100 recruit rankings for the 2015 class. With Kevarrius Hayes and Keith Stone coming from the state of Florida, the Gators continue their trend of locking down outstanding talent in the state. KeVaughn Allen also comes to UF from SEC country as a two-time Arkansas Gatorade Player of the Year.
KeVaughn Allen
G | 6-3 | 170 | Little Rock, Ark. | North Little Rock
· Rated a four-star prospect by ESPN and Rivals.
· Scored 28 points to lead North Little Rock to the 7A State Championship, the school's third straight.
· Averaged 25.2 points 6.2 rebounds, 4.7 assists and 3.1 steals per game as a senior.
· The Gatorade Arkansas Boys Basketball Player of the Year as a junior and senior and earned MVP of the 2013 state championship game as a sophomore.
· Top-rated prospect in the state of Arkansas and won 2014 Gatorade Player of the Year in the state, averaging 21.3 points and 6.4 rebounds as a junior.
· ESPN.com bottom line: “Allen is a big time scorer that has all the offensive weapons to get his team a basket when needed at end of clock and game situations.”
Kevarrius Hayes
F | 6-9 | 190 | Live Oak, Fla. | Suwannee
· A four-star recruit according to ESPN and a three-star recruit on Rivals.
· Long and athletic shot-blocker and rebounder.
· Helped Suwanee to 19 wins during his senior season, averaging nearly 20 points and more than 10 rebounds per game.
· ESPN.com bottom line: “Hayes is a power forward that has tremendous upside. He is a smart player that will be an excellent college forward and become more of a factor as is offense catches up with his rebounding and defense.”
Keith Stone
F | 6-7 | 240 | Deerfield Beach, Fla. | Zion Lutheran
· Rated a four-star prospect by ESPN and a three-star by Rivals.
· Solid driver with great touch around the rim.
· Helped Zion Lutheran to a 20-8 record and a 2A regional semifinal appearance during his senior year.
· Named first-team Class 2A All-State as a senior by the Florida Association of Basketball Coaches.
· ESPN.com bottom line: “Stone is a combination forward that is a tough cover. He can make plays from almost anywhere inside the arc. Stone is just scratching the surface of how good he can become. When Stone is locked in and competing he has a high major game to go along with his terrific scoring package.”
