Eleanna Christinaki Completes Gator Signing Class

GAINESVILLE, Fla. – Eleanna Christinaki (Pronounced: L-ee-on-uh CHRISTIN-ock) became the third member of Florida's 2014-15 signing class when she signed a National Letter of Intent, Gator Head Coach Amanda Butler announced Wednesday.
Christinaki, a 5-11 perimeter player from Paralimni, Greece, joins Tyshara “Ty” Fleming (6-4, Center, Virginia Beach, Virginia) and Simone Westbrook (5-8, Guard, Chandler, Arizona), both of whom signed in April of 2015, and completes the Gator's signing class for the 2015-16 season.
A Glance at Christinaki:
· Currently the second-youngest member of the Greece Senior National Team
· Captain of the U20 National Team
· A member of Greece's Division A U16, U18 and U20 national teams since 2012
· During the 2014-15 season played with the club team Athinaikos (Greece-A1 Division)
· Averaged 10.0 points and 7.0 rebounds per game in FIBA Europe competitions for the Division A U18 Greece National Team in 2014
· Began playing with Panathinaikos in 2011 and helped the team win the Greek championship in 2013
