
Florida Men’s Basketball Adds Justin Leon, a Junior College Transfer

GAINESVILLE, Fla. – The Florida Gators have added another member to the incoming 2015 class, signing junior college transfer Justin Leon. Leon will be able to compete immediately and has two seasons of eligibility remaining.
This past season, he was a junior college All-American, while averaging a double-double (21.5 ppg., 10.0 rpg.).
Leon joins a class of three of incoming freshmen, all ranked in the top 80 of the ESPN100 recruit rankings for the 2015 class, including, KeVaughn Allen, Kevarrius Hayes and Keith Stone.

- A 2015 junior college All-American, averaging 21.5 points and 10.0 rebounds while shooting .504 from the field.
- One of four players in Division I NJCAA to rank in the top 20 in points (16th) and rebounds (20th) last season, Leon recorded 16 double-doubles.
- Scored a season-high 31 points twice, reached 20+ points 20 times and scored double figures in every game, also posting a season best of 19 rebounds.
- Scored 15.3 points and grabbed 6.3 rebounds while shooting .563 from the field as a freshman, posting nine 20+ scoring games.
- Played high school basketball at Conway High School, earning 7A All-Conference and All-State honors while averaging 13 points and 10 rebounds.
