
SEC Soccer and Volleyball Television Schedule Unveiled

GAINESVILLE, Fla. -- For the second consecutive year Southeastern Conference soccer and volleyball will see extensive coverage of 80 games on national television. In 2015, SEC Network and ESPNU will air a combined 30 women's soccer games -- including the entire SEC Soccer Tournament -- and 50 women's volleyball matches. National coverage of the two sports has quintupled since SEC Network's launch last fall.
2015 soccer & volleyball TV schedule highlights:
· Wednesday Night Volleyball: beginning September 23, ESPNU will air 10 consecutive weeks of SEC Volleyball; SEC Network will also air a game on Wednesday nights creating a weekly doubleheader of SEC volleyball across national television networks
· Thursday Night Soccer on SEC Network: SEC Network will air eight consecutive weeks of SEC soccer at 7 p.m. ET, capping the regular season off with a doubleheader Thursday, Oct. 29
· SEC Network will air a doubleheader of volleyball and/or soccer every Sunday afternoon beginning Sept. 13
· For the second year SEC Network will carry the First, Quarterfinal and Semifinal Rounds of the SEC Soccer Tournament. The Championship game will air on ESPNU.
The 80 SEC Network and ESPNU events include:
· 40 volleyball games on SEC Network
· 25 soccer matches on SEC Network
· 10 volleyball games on ESPNU
· 5 soccer matches on ESPNU

The opening match of SEC Network soccer coverage starts right here in Gainesville when defending NCAA champion Florida State visits the James G. Pressly Stadium to face the Gators. That match is set for Sunday, Aug. 30, at 1 p.m.
The SEC Network continues its consistent television series for soccer, airing a match for eight straight Thursdays beginning with the meeting between the league's top two teams from 2014 season -- Texas A&M at Florida. That match is set for Thursday, Sept. 10, at 7 p.m. at the Donald R. Dizney Stadium. Florida makes two additional appearances on Thursday's showcase match -- vs South Carolina (Oct. 22) and at Georgia (Oct. 29).
Beginning Sept. 23, ESPNU will feature 10 straight weeks of SEC volleyball on Wednesday nights, and the SEC Network will make Wednesday's a volleyball doubleheader by featuring a volleyball match as well.
All four SEC Network soccer airings for the Gators features teams which advanced to 2014 NCAA Tournament action, including defending NCAA champion Florida State (Aug. 30) and NCAA semifinalist Texas A&M (Sept. 10). On the volleyball side, the Orange and Blue will appear four times on the SEC Network against 2014 NCAAA Tournament qualifiers: Kentucky (Sept. 27 & Oct. 18), at LSU (Nov. 20) and at Texas A&M (Nov. 22).
