Gators Well Represented in Final Poll of the Season

SKILLMAN, N.J. – About a week after the conclusion of the 2015 NCAA DI Championship, the final Oracle/ITA Division I Women's National Collegiate Singles/Doubles rankings were released.
Following an impressive freshman campaign, SEC Player of the Year, SEC Freshman of the Year and ITA National Rookie of the Year Brooke Austin earned a No. 4 singles ranking to cap an incredible debut season. Additionally, Austin ranks as the No. 1 singles player in the Southeast region. Fellow rookie Josie Kuhlman joins her in the top 10 at No. 8 after the Ponte Vedra, Fla., native advanced to the semifinal round of the NCAA Singles Championship. Junior Brianna Morgan (37), and sophomores Belinda Woolcock (48) and Kourtney Keegan (56) join the two Gator freshmen in the final singles poll of the season.
NCAA Doubles Championship semifinalists Austin and Keegan check in at a career-high No. 3 ranking in the national doubles poll and the top tandem in the Southeast region. Liang and Woolcock conclude the season at No. 79 and freshman pairing Kuhlman and Peggy Porter earned the No. 90 spot.
The Gators completed the 2015 season with a 24-4 record, taking the SEC regular season title and advancing to the quarterfinal round of the NCAA Championship. They earned a No. 6 ranking as a squad in the final poll and join seven other top-25 teams from the competitive Southeastern Conference.
