
UF Women’s Golf Lands Five on the SEC Academic Honor Roll

Five of the University of Florida women's golfers were named to the 2015 Southeastern Conference Spring Academic Honor Roll, the league announced Tuesday.
Seniors Camilla Hedberg and Anna Young, junior Ursa Orehek and sophomores Maria Torres and Karolina Vlckova were chosen based on their grades from the 2014 Summer, 2014 Fall and 2015 Spring semesters.
Hedberg made the list for the second consecutive year, while Orehek, Torres, Vlckova and Young were first-time recipients.
Any student-athlete who participates in a SEC championship sport or a sport listed on his/her institution's NCAA Sports Sponsorship Form is eligible for nomination to the Academic Honor Roll.
To be recognized to the SEC Academic Honor Roll, each student-athlete must 1) have a GPA of 3.00 for either the preceding academic year or have a cumulative GPA of 3.00 or above at the nominating institution; 2) be on scholarship, a letterwinner or have participated on a varsity team for two years if non-scholarship; 3) have completed 24 semester hours of non-remedial credit at the nominating institution; and 4) have been a member of the varsity team for the sport's entire NCAA Championship segment.
