Parking Information For 2015 NCAA Gainesville Baseball Super Regional
Friday, June 5, 2015 | Baseball
GAINESVILLE, Fla. – With the NCAA Gainesville Super Regional between Florida and Florida State being held at McKethan Stadium beginning on Friday night, event parking is available in the commuter lot on Gale Lemerand Drive, Stephen C. O'Connell Center Lot and Garage, Percy Beard Track, Flavet Field and Fraternity Row on a first-come, first-serve basis. Please note that parking in the O'Connell Center Lot will be limited due to high school graduations being held.
The parking on Flavet Field for baseball fans will open at 5 p.m. on Friday, 3 p.m. on Saturday and then at 4 p.m. on Sunday if necessary.
There will also be a free parking shuttle that will deliver fans to all of the action each day. Fans are strongly encouraged to use the parking shuttles to reach their destination because of the high volume of traffic associated with the high school graduations being held in the O'Connell Center on Friday and Saturday.
Shuttle service from the commuter lot on Gale Lemerand Drive begins at 5 p.m. on Friday, 3 p.m. on Saturday and would start at 5 p.m. on Sunday for a potential Game 3. For the shuttles, the first stop will be at Gate 3 of the O'Connell Center for fans with will-call tickets to pick up and there will be a second stop in front of the Lemerand Athletic Center to access the first-base gate as well.
The shuttles will run for 30 minutes following the conclusion of the game and the return pick-up points will be in the same location.
