Former Gators Abby Wambach and Adriana Leon are part their nation's rosters for the 2015 FIFA Women's World Cup action. Wambach is making her fourth appearance on the U.S. roster for World Cup action and Leon is part of Canada's team.

The 2015 FIFA Women's World Cup begins in Canada Saturday, June 6, with the final set for Sunday, July 5 in Vancouver.
About the World Cup Gators:
Wambach is making her fourth Women's World Cup appearance, as she also was on the 2003, 2007 and 2011 U.S. rosters. Her 180 goals is the most ever on the international stage. She picked up the sport's highest honor – FIFA Women's World Player of the Year or FIFA Ballon d'Or in 2012. She led the USA in scoring at the 2003 and 2007 FIFA Women's World Cups and received the 2011 World Cup Bronze Boot after scoring four goals. (USA bio)
Wambach is the Gators' career leader in goals (96), assists (50) and points (242) and stands seventh on the NCAA Career charts in goals and points. She earned National Soccer Coaches Association of American (NSCAA) All-America first-team honors in 1999 and 2001. She is a four-time member of the All-Southeastern Conference first team and picked up the SEC Player of the Year award in 2000 and 2001.
Leon transferred to Florida from Notre Dame for the 2012 season. She scored five goals that season with the Gators. She was drafted for the National Women's Soccer League in January of 2013 and currently plays for the Chicago Red Stars.
