
Gators in Solid Position Entering Final Round of Pan-American Games

MARKHAM, Ont. – University of Florida sophomore men's golfer Alejandro Tosti and incoming freshman Jorge Garcia both posted scores of 4-under 68 in Round 3 of the 2015 Toronto Pan-American Games on Saturday to secure shares of seventh place entering Sunday's final round.
Garcia and Tosti both totaled scores of -4 (212), helping them improve two spots in the standings from Friday.
Florida junior women's golfer Maria Torres carded a +7 (79) on Saturday. She's tied for 13th with a score of +15 (231).
Tosti's mixed team, Argentina, remained in third place, Garcia's Venezuelan team is in eighth place and Torres' Puerto Rican team is in 12th among the 16-team field.
The fourth and final round of the Games will be played Sunday at the Angus Glen Golf Club.
