Dendy, a 13-time USTFCCCA All-American, won seven NCAA Division I national championships in his four-year career as a Gator. Six of those titles came at the last three NCAA Championships, making him only the third athlete in history, and first since 1998, to sweep the triple jump and long jump titles at three consecutive NCAA Championships.
In his two victories at this year's NCAA Division I Outdoor Championships, the 2015 USTFCCCA Indoor and Outdoor National Field Athlete of the Year recorded the third-longest all-conditions long jump (28-5.75/8.68m) and the sixth-best wind-legal triple jump (57-5/17.50m) in collegiate history. Moreover, the Middletown, Del. native posted the third-longest triple jump mark in collegiate history (57-0/17.37m) during his sweep of the horizontal jumps at the 2015 NCAA Division I Indoor Championships.
Following the collegiate season, Dendy competed at the USATF Outdoor Championships, winning the gold medal in the long jump and a bronze medal in the triple jump. This coming August, Dendy is expected to compete in both events at the IAAF World Championships in Beijing.
